ABOUT BCS

In January 1994, three former employees of the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission founded Brazos Consulting & Licensing, and began providing quality service to businesses engaged in the alcoholic beverage industry. In time, two of the original owners sold their portion of the business to the third, Larry Karstadt. On December 29, 2006, Mr. Karstadt sold the business to another former TABC employee, Debi Fincher, and her husband, Mike.

Based in the Brazos Valley, Brazos Consulting Services will continue to offer regularly scheduled local classes, as well as in Conroe, Huntsville and Brenham. Private on-location classes will also be available throughout the state. (scheduled classes)

Debi & Mike both obtained their Bachelor's Degree from Sam Houston State University in Criminal Justice and Police Science. Debi graduated from Bryan High School in 1979 and was with the TABC for approximately 16 years, where she attained the rank of Lieutenant stationed in the Dallas District. She obtained her Masters of Public Administration from Texas A&M - Corpus Christi in 1993. She returned to her hometown of Bryan in 1998.

Although she left TABC in 2000, she keeps her police commission active with the Robertson County Sheriff's Office, where she is currently a reserve deputy sheriff.

Mike has been with the Texas Department of Public Safety for approximately 27 years. He is a Sergeant Investigator with the Criminal Intelligence Service and is a certified Polygraph Operator. He is available to provide quality polygraph exams in civil matters and currently does work for Media Bass and Ignition Bass Fishing Tournaments.
