BCS Class Descriptions

CLASS OVERVIEW

Seller training provides employees education for the legal distribution and sales concerning alcoholic beverages. These classes train your employees on how and when to sell alcoholic beverages, empowering them to know their legal rights and responsibilities. They also learn when they could be putting themselves and your company at risk for criminal and civil legal actions.

T.A.B.C. approved SELLER TRAINING for alcohol

• Sales to Intoxicated persons and Minors;
• Facts about alcohol as a substance;
• Recognizing illegal sales to intoxicated persons and minors;
• Monitoring customer behavior and intervention techniques.

Students must pass a written quiz to be certified. Certification lasts for two years from the class date. The class must be taken again to be recertified.

Class lasts about 4 hours.
